Chabichou du Poitou: a must-try

Le Chabichou from Poitou is one of the most emblematic AOP goat cheeses. Produced in the Poitou region, it is distinguished by its truncated cone shape and melting texture. Its taste evolves with maturing, going from a lactic sweetness to more assertive aromas.

Origin and manufacturing

This cheese is produced exclusively in the departments of Vienne, Deux-Sèvres and Charente. Its production follows strict specifications including the use of raw milk and a minimum ripening period of 10 days.
