Zucchini gratin and Caprifeuille log

Ingredients

 

  • 1 Caprifeuille Sèvre & Belle log
  • 3 courgettes
  • 1 onion
  • 100 ml of liquid cream
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme
  • 30 g grated parmesan (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Prep time

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.

Cut the zucchini into thin slices and slice the onion.

Sauté the onion in olive oil until translucent. Add the zucchini and sauté for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

Transfer the zucchini and onion to a baking dish. Pour the liquid cream over the top.

Cut the Caprifeuille log into slices and arrange them on the zucchini.

Sprinkle with thyme and Parmesan cheese, if desired.

Bake for 20-25 minutes until the top is nicely browned.

Serve hot with bread or rice.
