Visit to our members’ farms.
This month of June, Guillaume Ribadière, our sales and marketing director, Philippe Guimard, our administrative and financial director and Laurent Galliot our milk supply manager, visited some of the farms belonging to our cooperative. The main objective was to listen to our members, maintain and develop the relationship between CLS and milk producers who are the essence of the quality of our products.
Indeed, as a cooperative on a human scale and with strong societal and environmental values, it is essential that we all work together to continue to share our know-how throughout the world.
In all the farms visited, the farmers welcomed our teams with enthusiasm and had the opportunity to share their concerns and their pride. The outcome of this operation is important since it will allow the cooperative to evolve in synergy with its members.
Here are some excerpts from our teams' feedback:
Philippe GUIMARD: “We met people attached to the cooperative, attached to their local “rooting”: they seem to be proud to be linked to the CLS because our brands are a guarantee of quality and recognition in the dairy world. They all carry out very varied projects while taking into account the well-being of their animals and maintaining a quality of family and social life. »
Guillaume RIBADIERE: “The visit to our members’ farms confirmed to me the high technicality of dairy production and the multidisciplinary nature of the producers. Producing milk, which involves the production of fodder and other inputs used in animal feed, is complex and very demanding. Understanding the work and added value of each person, in the value chain that links us producers and employees, is a real asset of a company on a human scale like the Sèvre Dairy Cooperative.”
